Awhile back I found a blank journal in my stash of supplies, and put out a call for ideas for the cover. After getting a bunch of great ideas via facebook and twitter – I decided to go with the suggestion of ‘flowers.’ My favorite

I did a few practice sketches to decide palette and arrangement, and then started the final cover painting.

And done! I truly appreciate everyone’s ideas on the blank cover — I’ll just have to find more blank journals for the rest of them!
